As a buyer, you are not required to create a profile in order to shop. You can easily shop as a guest.

We do however recommend you create a profile so that you can rate sellers and get listings based on what you like!

* In case of ordering items from more than one vendor, an extra charge of 30EGP is added for every other vendor.

Example: if you’re from Cairo/Giza and order order 3 items from just vendor A, you will be charged 70EGP.

In case you order 1 item from vendor A and 1 item from vendor B you will be charged 100EGP.

Our order fulfillment typically takes from 3 to 7 business days.

When a sale occurs, we initiate communication with the seller to schedule the pickup of the item.

It’s important to note that coordinating with sellers for pickups can sometimes extend this timeframe, as it depends on the sellers’ availability.

Once collected, the product is transported to our warehouse. In the warehouse, we inspect the quality, ensuring it matches the description listed before shipping the package to you.

*Items stored at our warehouse get delivered faster than items at the sellers’.

*Note that shipping outside of Cairo might take longer.

The conditions of the Products on Snails will vary from one product to another, as we allow sellers to list both new and used products.

All sellers state the exact condition of the product on a scale varying form "fair" to "new with tag".

Verified sellers are sellers who never failed a quality check and who sold more than 30 listings successfully.

• We provide a return/refund policy for both new and secondhand items, except for soiree dresses.

• You can either accept or return the entire order while the courier is present. For partial returns, accept the full order first and contact us to initiate the return process.

• You have a 24-hour window post-delivery to initiate a return request.

• Refunds for returned items exclude the initial shipping cost and the cost of picking up the item from the seller.

• The buyer covers the return shipping fee unless the item exhibits unmentioned defects or the return is due to an error on our part.

• To qualify for a refund, the product must remain in the same condition as delivered, without any damage. Damaged items are not eligible for a refund.

A return request can typically take our team 2-5 business days to process. {{{{{Please note that the length of time to review a case can vary depending on the response time it takes for a buyer or a seller to get back to us.}}}} It's important to note however that we do not accept returns or exchanges requests once 24 hours have passed since the buyer received the item.

• Sellers can list their items on Snails free of charge, and a buyer-paid markup is added to the asked price.

• Your asked price needs to match our pricing recommendation to be accepted.

• Sellers only pay 30 EGP for item pick-up or drop-off free of charge in Maadi.

• If a product doesn't match the description or info stated on the website, the seller is responsible for covering all shipping costs.

• Returned items stay in our warehouse until they are ordered again or until the seller picks them up. *In case sellers want their items sent back, they cover the shipping cost.

Rest assured, we take full responsibility for safely storing every item in our warehouse. Any potential damage incurred while in our possession is our responsibility to address.

• If the item does not meet our hygiene standards (cleaned and ironed), sellers cover dry clean cost whether the sale was completed or returned.

• Sellers must package items properly. Bags & shoes should ideally be placed in a box.
  Dresses, suits and blazers need to be in an appropriate cover to prevent damage during shipping.

We cannot be held responsible for any damage during shipping or storage if items are not packaged correctly.

You add a new listing by:

To edit a listing:

1-Log in

2- Go to Products tab < click on Products listing

2-Go to the row of the listing you want to edit, click on the 3 dots in the action column and choose edit.

Once you make a sale, we'll get in touch!

You'll have the choice to drop off the item at our warehouse free of charge or we can send a courier to pick it up from the address provided in your profile in exchange for 30EGP.

When you give the item to the courier, its quality and condition need to be as described on your closet.

Please also make sure the item is clean and ironed to avoid extra charges to cover dry clean.

Sellers get paid on the 1st, 10th and 20th of every month, at least 7 days after item fulfillment.

Our fees are very simple and straightforward.

Sellers can have their items listed and sold on Snails for zero commission. Snails commission fee of 25% is added to the asked price and to be paid by buyers.

Payment occurs on the 1st, 10th of 20th of every month, with at least 7 days from item fulfillment.

Payment occurs after the buyer has received the item and confirmed their satisfaction with it.

Buyers are allowed 24 hours after delivery to inform us of any return or exchange request.

If the customer is returning/exchanging the item due to a defect that was NOT mentioned in the listing, the seller is obligated to pay for the shipping costs.

Sellers can get paid in two ways:

-Cash pick-up from the warehouse (per order or monthly)

-Money Transfer (Bank, WE Wallet, Vodafone Cash, Telda Card or InstaPay)

Order Fulfillment

Sellers will receive payments for orders that have been successfully delivered. This means that the item has been picked up, quality-checked, and received by the buyer, meeting the required standards.

Payment Schedule

Payments to sellers are processed on the 1st, 10th, and 20th of each month.

This regular schedule helps in streamlining the payment process and ensures consistency.

Payment Eligibility

To be eligible for payment, the order must have been fulfilled at least 7 days before the scheduled payment date.

This allows sufficient time for the entire process, including quality checks and delivery, to be completed.

-All pre-owned items can be listed on Snails if they are clean and in good condition, except for underwear; it must be new.

-Swimsuits should either be new or as new, meaning it has to be in excellent condition showing no wear and tear, especially at the crotch area.

-Handmade fashion and accessories are also welcome.

-Wedding dresses

-Kids Clothes

-Old Halloween Costumes

You can't sell:

-For health and hygiene reasons, used underwear cannot be sold on Snails. However, if this type of garment is brand new, then it may be sold.

-Counterfeits (Fake brands and list them as original) If the product you are listing bears the brand or logo of a company or designer, but it wasn't made or authorized by that company or designer, don't list as if it is.

If you cannot verify the authenticity of an item, please state so. Additionally, using a company's name or trademark in a way that may confuse buyers about the item's origins, or confuses buyers into believing that you or the item is affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the trademark owner is both illegal and a violation of our policies. Members who list replicas or fakes risk immediate and permanent suspension from Snails.

Sell your items quickly by following these helpful tips:

-Use great lighting when taking pictures! Buyers want to clearly see the item.

-Create a beautiful Covershot photo by modeling and/or styling the item.

-Carefully review your item while listing and include additional photos showing any damage, excessive wear, or stains.

-Write a thorough description for your listing by including the item's condition, color, size, material and measurements.

-Keep your price competitive.

-Share your listings with followers or friends on different platforms like Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

Sell over 30 listings and never miss a quality check.

After you create your account, you can go back to edit your profile picture, your seller shop logo and create a banner for your online closet! Choosing a name for your closet is necessary, but creating a banner and a logo is optional for those who would like to take this to the next level! 

You will also be asked to write a short store description as well as a long store description. It's up to you what you write or don't write!

A single seller can create more than one selling account.

Price gouging occurs when a seller increases the price of items to a level much higher than what is considered reasonable or fair. This activity is strictly prohibited on Snails. Sellers must offer items at reasonable prices and are prohibited from unreasonably profiting from increased demand or disrupted supply caused by emergencies or disasters.

Please note that all sellers must follow all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the sale of their items. Sellers who violate this policy may be subject to listing removal and/or account suspension.
